I had two very wonderful camera ladies today.  THANK YOU!!  These are priceless...Slide Show..first 151 pictures     Second Slide Show

SUCCESS!!!!! Thank you!

Wow, I am sitting here half asleep trying to recover from today.  Today was such an amazing/overwhelming day.  We had so so so much support from our community.  I am going to post some pictures from the event, they are great.  I have results from the walk.   These are total proceeds...

$1685.00 Cash (To be used for our breast cancer patients)
$990.00 Checks for the foundation (To be used for our chemo room, improvements)
$20.00 Gift Card (for our breast cancer patients)

This is amazing.  Money will be used for gas cards, groceries, needs that a family would have.  We are planning to do this again next year, I will just need about six months to recover and motivate myself.  If you are interested in volunteering or donating, let me know.

Success with Registration

Today is the last day for on-line registrations.  We had to cut it off today for shirt orders.  You can still register at the Valley View Medical Center Cancer Clinic or the day of the event but the t-shirts will be First Come First Served.  We are just a small group of Young Breast Cancer Survivors and can't be stuck with a huge amount of inventory.  The response from the community has been overwhelming.  If you are planning to register the day of the walk, my suggestion is to wear pink to the event, just in case you don't get a t-shirt.  There will be a few things to buy, water, snacks and information about your monthly self-exams (ladies)!  We have also asked the Beat Cancer Boot Camp ladies  to warm you up before the event and the yoga shop has donated their services after.  I also have planned a special surprise for our Breast Cancer survivors..Can't wait!  Here is a picture of the Iron County Young Survivors (missing a few of our group)

Two New Donors

I am happy to announce two more donors.  Metalcraft has donated to the event and my parents, Dwight and Roslind Warner have donated.  I am so excited to have my family supporting this event. Many of the other Young Survivors Families have also joined in the cause.  Cedar City is a great community to live in.  Loving this experience.

Exciting Week

I have two new donors.  Dr. Daren Gatherum has donated to the event and Carol's Post Mastectomy has donated gifts for Breast Cancer survivors.  I am thrilled beyond words.  What a fun day this is going to be!!

Dr.Gatherum has helped diagnose breast cancer in several of the Young Survivors in the area.  Thank you for helping us fight this disease and listening to our concerns.  Carol's Post Mastectomy is a wonderful shop to help women order prosthesis, bras, lymphedema supplies-all with care and concern that breast cancer patients request and deserve.  Thanks again!

New Sponsors

I want to thank our new sponsors: Estate Storage, Bernice Gower Coldwell Advantage, Mountain America Credit UnionPaul and Bernadien Byl and Vinyl Expressions.  Wow, I am so touched by how much our community is coming together to help these amazing women going through breast cancer.  The money really does help a family provide meals, transportation to and from treatment and buy the things they need to sustain a family while facing breast cancer.  From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!

Shirt Design

I went today and designed the front of the t-shirts.  Here it is.....Let me know what you think.  Also, would you rather have a more sporty shirt or a t-shirt?  I am trying to find one that people will wear after the event.  I like the Bella brand.  It is soft and doesn't look like a box.
